The Art of Doing Nothing with Horses Series

This workshop series is for novices and horse-people who want to learn different ways of being with horses or those who have horse trauma in the past and want to rediscover horses in a gentle way. Each workshop teaches you different aspects and ways to be with horses. 

Come and learn the subtle language of horses, how horses feel energy, learn to communicate with one another by doing NOTHING, and finally learn to ride a horse.

Are you horse-curious and would like to get to know these magical beings in a natural setting? Perhaps you once rode but have become timid around horses and would like to return to the saddle. Or would you simply like to feel the deep calm and presence that comes from being around horses? If so, then this workshop is for you!

Art of Doing Nothing Series Part 2: Art of Doing a Little Something with Horses

Saturday, April 27 
Choose Session One: 9am-12pm, OR Session Two: 1pm-4pm

Take your interaction with horses to a deeper level. Discover what connection looks and feels like, learn to engage from a feeling, rather than a thinking state, and explore how shifts in perception influence outcome through experiential learning.

Prerequisite:  Art of Doing Nothing with Horses

Investment: $50 per session

Art of Doing Nothing Series Part 3: Art of Connection with Horses

Sunday, April 28 
Choose Session One: 9am-12pm, OR Session Two: 1pm-4pm

Working one on one with a horse, you will learn what it means to be connected, to explore different ways of working with your horse and playing with the energies between the two of you. Discover how your emotions and body language influence your relationship with horses, and ultimately, your human relationships. 

Prerequisites: Art of Doing Nothing  with Horses and The Art of Doing a Little Something with Horses

Investment: $50 per session

Art of Doing Nothing Series Part 4: Art of Being ON Horses

Sunday, May 11
Full day session 9 am – 4:30 pm

Partnering with a horse for the day, you will learn through slow, methodical steps on how to assess your horse’s health through observation and grooming, as you develop a mutual trust. Deepening your connection through arena groundwork, you will learn the art of riding a horse. The day culminates in a trail ride followed by a ceremony to celebrate your success!!

Prerequisites: Art of Doing Nothing with Horses, The Art of Doing a Little Something with Horses and The Art of Connection with Horses

Investment: $100 (full day session)
