Andrea Wady Pure Liberty Clinic

The definition of Liberty:  The power to do as one pleases, freedom from physical and mental restraint, the power of choice.

What if there is a beautiful balance to be found in partnering with your horse, a journey where both horse and human trust one another? A place of choice, not coercion…

Come and explore the concepts of training horses using proven passive and assertive leadership techniques that build a partnership from a place of true connection, without dominating or being dominated.

Explore how slowing down the interaction with your horse, setting aside your tools and lowering your bar of expectation will form a deeper and more solid foundation with your horse, taking your riding discipline or groundwork to a higher level. Bring your own horse or partner with one of ours.

About This Clinic

Day 1: The morning session will be theory of the concepts of Pure Liberty as a group. This will include demos. Each student will then have an afternoon one-on-one session with their horse with all students present to observe and learn as a group. This is a non-judgmental, safe learning environment. Using elements from Ethology, Equine psychology and Intrinsic motivation, you will learn the concepts of passive leadership and making good decisions for you and your horse to build the unbreakable bond of friendship.

Day 2: The morning session will be exploring how to ask your horse to move without tools, at liberty, to create a stronger bond. During the afternoon session, we will bring all of the concepts of the past two days together, setting you off along the path of the relationship you have always dreamed of with your horse.

Over the two days, each student will have three one-on-one sessions working with Andrea as the rest of the group observes. A huge amount of learning will occur with each student being present while the others have their individual sessions, as we will be discussing all the concepts of Pure Liberty throughout the two days. Get ready for a fabulous learning overload as we dive deep into the relation your horse would choose!
